Dear ASB Members:

Our 2015 meeting in Chattanooga, TN was a great success and we are looking forward to a fantastic meeting in Concord, NC on March 31st – April 3rd, 2016.  Be sure to note that this year’s meeting runs from Thursday through Sunday, which differs from previous years.  That is, our typical “Wednesday Night Mixer” will be held on Thursday night, March 31st and the oral and poster presentations will occur on Friday and Saturday.  Instead of having field trips on the Saturday following the meeting they will be on Sunday, April 3.

The Association of Southeastern Biologists is an organization focused on science and science education. Please take the time to encourage your friends, students and colleagues to attend the 2016 meeting. The strength of our organization comes from the breadth of interests and expertise we bring to this regional gathering. Encouraging participation from all sub-disciplines of the life sciences will help us maintain our strength as a vibrant regional professional association. I will look forward to seeing you in Concord!

Sincerely,

Joey Shaw, President
